YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We protect your privacy and let you choose whether optional trackers are used.
Who is responsible for your data?
Association Paléocharente, an association governed by the French Law of 1901, SIRET 792 693 905 00012, is responsible for processing related to this site. You can write to us at: Paléocharente, Musée, 1 rue Friedland, 16000 Angoulême, France.
How the site operates
Our host WordPress.com and Automattic’s technical services process information required to display and secure the site: IP address, browser, requested pages, date, time and technical logs. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing a reliable, secure site. Automattic generally retains routine technical logs for about 30 days; some data may be kept longer to investigate an incident or meet a legal obligation.
Your correspondence with the association
When you contact us, we use the information you choose to provide to answer and follow up your enquiry. Send only information relevant to your request. Authorised association members can access messages relevant to their work. Routine correspondence is kept while the enquiry is handled, then for a maximum of three years after the last contact, unless a legal obligation or dispute requires otherwise. Requests concerning participation or support may, depending on their purpose, involve pre-contractual steps, a contractual relationship or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Service providers and transfers
WordPress.com is provided by Automattic group entities; for European Union users, the contracting entity is Aut O’Mattic A8C Ireland Ltd. Services may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States, subject to the safeguards described in Automattic’s privacy policy. We do not sell your data.

Your rights
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing of your data, object to certain processing and request portability where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time. Send your request to Paléocharente at the postal address above. Proof of identity will be requested only if there is reasonable doubt about your identity. We normally respond within one month; a reasoned extension may be necessary for complex requests.
You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
