Heterodonty in turiasaur teeth

Heterodonty in the teeth of the turiasaurian sauropod from Angeac-Charente (Early Cretaceous, southwestern France): Comparison of anatomical and geometric morphometric approaches

Anatomical and morphometric comparison of 167 isolated teeth: five morphotypes are related to their positions in the jaw.

How do droppings become fossils?

How Do Vertebrate Droppings Fossilise? Biogenic Versus Diagenetic Signals in Coprolites Evidenced by Elemental Mappings

Elemental mapping of 50 coprolites distinguishes biological signals from changes caused by fossilisation. Chemical composition does not simply reflect the last meal.

Coprolites and feeding interactions

A rich coprolite assemblage from Angeac-Charente (France): A glimpse into trophic interactions within an Early Cretaceous freshwater swamp

Study of the coprolite assemblage: morphology, contents and preservation reveal feeding interactions in the wetland.

Femoral variation and the sexual dimorphism hypothesis

Femora from an exceptionally large population of coeval ornithomimosaurs yield evidence of sexual dimorphism in extinct theropod dinosaurs

Differences in femoral shape within a contemporaneous population are investigated as evidence of sexual dimorphism. This interpretation does not directly identify the sex of each fossil.

Pollen and spores: reassessing age and environment

Re-examination of the palynological content of the Lower Cretaceous deposits of Angeac, Charente, south-west France: Age, palaeoenvironment and taxonomic determinations

Re-examination of the palynoflora proposes a Berriasian–Valanginian age, revising the Hauterivian–Barremian estimate published in 2012.
